SPACE RESERVED FOR VILLAGE MEMBERS AND FRIENDS AT THE BEACH
We will set up a shade tent adjacent to the contest site for Village Members and guests. Villagers will need to bring their own beach chair, layered clothing and snacks. We'll supply fresh chilled water and sparkling mineral water. The contest site is usually set up a short distance either north or south of the famous (infamous?) Taco Bell at Linda Mar Beach. When you get to the beach, just look for a cluster of shade tents/canopies on the beach. That will be where the contest is being held. We will have contest volunteers available to answer any questions about the contest and explain how the contest works so that you can follow the action out in the water as well as meet a few of our great contest volunteers.

We strongly recommend carpooling to the contest and having your driver drop you off at the beach parking lot that is just south of Taco Bell because finding a parking space in one of the parking lots near the beach will be very difficult. We recommend that your driver park in the CalTrans commuter parking lot on Linda Mar Blvd. The CalTrans commuter parking lot is located across the street from the Linda Mar-Safeway Shopping Center. This lot rarely gets full and features free parking. The driver will need to walk from the parking lot, cross Linda Mar Blvd and Highway 1 to get to the beach and the contest location.
